CEBU SEO CONTEST : Against PR3 & PR2

now here's the tough part. Still as of today this blog is not indexed yet by google but im still keeping my fingers crossed that google.com can somehow add this one before the ends. Anyway, I was also fortunate that a friend of mine (Lagahit.com) who also joined the "CEBU SEO CONTEST" made it to the top. In fact, as of this writing he's on the 3rd spot while realpinoy once again conquered the top spot bring vonx cebublog to the second place.

great to see these guys competing with each other. none of them i suppose is an expert in seo but they're still showcasing their mastery of the said undertaking. but what actually triggered me most is that this is now a battle against PR's.. as you can see both guys on top have pr2 & pr3 respectively while lagahit.com has pr0. now, who do you guess would win the contest? the pr guys or pr0 geek. but hey! don't forget about this blog coz this is built for that "cebu seo contest" of lhurey.

Anyway, let's just see where this blog ranks on the latter rounds...

3rd day of cebu seo contest..

just made a few search on the recent seo contest that I joined in Cebu "cebu seo contest" but unfortunately this site didn't able to convince google to index this site ASAP for this site to be visible. anyway, ill be keeping my fingers crossed hoping that before this month ends this blog will be visible.

i checked on rodel's blog if he managed to climb up and yes his blog is now visible on the first page. ive asked him what steps needed to be done to skyrocket to the top but he only told me that "lhurey's contest is not worth really that big effort since prices at stake is not really that big." what rodel really meant was that if the contest is that huge a seo practitioner needs to invest money and time. in fact, you should need 30-50 blogs or sites or even more to hit the ranks and w/o money and the needed plans you won't be able to see yourself on top.Twilight Philippines

to dig deeper, he was also mentioning that lhurey's contest is also a good start for beginners like me to explore. with this little seo contest competition is not really that tough since its done locally. this contest also is a good venue to experiment and check on google's response to various experiments one should create. so while joining the said contest one shouldn't forget to experiment more..

in fact he mentioned to me about "splogs" and how can this help various seo contest that i'll be joining in the near future.

Cebu Seo Contest : no specific rules... I once bumped into Lagahit.com's blog about "Cebu Seo Contest" that he joined and I was able to trace the source of this fan fair at phBlogger's blog.

Here's a few info about the said Seo Contest;

The "Cebu Seo Contest” is open to all Visayas bloggers, Mindanao bloggers and Luzon bloggers recently living in the Philippines.

To participate in the contest, create a post entry with a link back to http://www.phblogger.net and use the key phrase “Cebu Seo Contest."

Participating blog should comment on his post with your complete name and blog URL (not the post entry) stating that you have join the contest.

Lastly, the contest ends on September 2, 2008 at 6:00 p.m so you have still lot of time to work on your SEO tricks like what I'm doing. :)

Prices?

How about the rules?

Man... this is the most craziest contest I've ever seen ... "no specific rules." This is also the reason why I created this blog. Honestly, blogs built for this has a quite big advantage - you know what I mean. But of course it's also challenging since a lot of blogs have already made it at the top so this won't be a walk in the park for me.
